On Tuesday evening, January 26, the University hosted several area folks from the agricultural community for a meal and brief program prior to the HU/Taylor University men’s basketball game. The purpose of the evening was to share the campaign building/renovation project of the Merillat Complex for Physical Education and Recreation and related areas. Speakers included President Dowden; men’s basketball coach, Ty Platt; former men’s basketball coach Steve Platt; along with former men’s basketball players Kyle Ganton and Ryan Thwaits. We are pleased to report that several thousand dollars were raised in support of that project from that event.
