    It has been some time since I have reported on campaign happenings.  This doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy raising funds for Huntington University.  Following is a summary report of all of the regional campaign events that have happened to date:

    Indianapolis

    • Campaign chair – Phil Howard
    • Dinner held October 5, 2010 at Jonathan Byrd’s
    • 534 invited, 34 attended (6%)
    • 8 committee members (6 contributed to the campaign – 75%)
    • Gifts and pledges from dinner – $2,450 (6 donors)
    • Average dinner gift/pledge – $408

     Columbus

    • Campaign co-chairs – Tom and Wendy Feusse
    • Dinner held November 4, 2010 at Villa Milano
    • 190 invited, 35 attended (18%)
    • 5 committee members (4 contributed to the campaign – 80%)
    • Gifts and pledges from dinner – $8,319 (6 donors)
    • Average dinner gift/pledge – $2773
    • Dinner underwritten

     Huntington

    • Campaign co-chairs – Brooks Fetters and Jane Schenkel
    • Two dinners held February 3 and February 10, 2011 at Habecker Dining Commons
    • 1,052 invited, 145 attended (14%)
    • 35 committee members (26 contributed to the campaign – 74%)
    • Gifts and pledges from dinner – $22,525 (33 donors)
    • Average dinner gift/pledge – $683

     Fort Wayne

    • Campaign chair – Andrew Hoffman
    • Dinner held June 2, 2011 at Hall’s Guesthouse
    • 924 invited, 55 attended (6%)
    • 12 committee members (6 contributed to the campaign – 50%)
    • Gifts and pledges from dinner – $11,065 (8 donors)
    • Average dinner gift/pledge – $1,383 (one gift was $6,000)

     Regional Campaign Summary

    • 4 dinners raised $44,359
    • 2,700 invited; 269 attended (10%)
    • 60 total committee members (42 contributed to the campaign – 70%)
    • Total gifts and pledges from dinners – $44,359 (53 donors)
    • Average dinner gift/pledge (for all dinners) – $837

    Campaign events are currently being planned for Adrian, Michigan (Thursday, November 3) and Grand Rapids, Michigan (Monday, November 14).
