CALL FOR PROPOSAL TO HOST IN 2009, 2010, or 2011
CONFERENCE ON CHRISTIANITY, CULTURE, AND DIVERSITY IN AMERICA
We, the Chair and Co-Chairs of the CCCDA, would like to invite institutions to submit proposals to host the 2009, 2010 or 2011 CCCDA. We seek institutions that have the vision and passion to carry on the fine work that the CCCDA has accomplished thus far.
A copy of the CCCDA Job Descriptions Report is available at your request, as you consider the charge and responsibilities of hosting the Conference. We are willing to serve as consultants (free of charge) if our services are needed, as planning proceeds for the CCCDA. Looking ahead, the selected host institution will be expected to organize teams to address Steering, Sponsorship, Public Relations, and Editorial needs of the Conference.
For additional details about past CCCDA events, please visit the websites www.oru.edu/cccda or www.huntington.edu/cccda. While the CCCDA has been hosted in the US but has attracted both national and international scholars from a number of CCCU, private, and public colleges, we believe that the future CCCDA may be hosted internationally, as we have been corresponding with one or two colleagues from Canada. To this end, we welcome proposals from national and international colleges and universities.
We pray that the administration of a submitting institution will endorse this proposal, as they see the benefits that the CCCDA could provide for its campus, and the surrounding community, as the University seeks to find creative paradigms for promoting diversity of race, ethnicity, gender, age, culture, religion, and disabilities.
